From the Loue valley to the mountain crests of the Haut-Jura, the hills of Petite Montagne to the Grandvaux plateau, over one hundred mountain-bike trails have been cleared and marked in the Jura region – offering thrills and spills for some, wildlife and superb scenery for others.
Mountain-biking in the Jura mountains offers 120 official way-marked trails, plus 2 special centres and 1 mountain-biking base which have been approved by the French National Cycling and Cycle Tourism Federations. Mountain-biking in the Jura mountains is also internationally renowned for special events like « La Forestière », « La Tram' Jurassienne », and « Les Voies du Sel ».

The mountain-biking base and the two centres offer a whole range of itineraries of all levels, information brochures, and information boards installed at key points on the trails, plus bike repair and bike hire services.
